in just this always-fresh moment
here, the world passes by
without touching your skin

Once, in response to a question about what time in meditation and outside meditation share in common, the sage closed his eyes. After taking a few deep breaths, he, smiling, said, breath by breath ... breath by breath ... breath by breath.
